La Plagne School Ski Trips
La Plagne, nestled high in the French Alps facing Mont Blanc, is actually a collection of ski villages connected by an extensive network of cable cars and lifts. This ensures there’ s a great selection of accommodation, apres ski options and ski terrain to choose from, and you’ll be sure to find whatever you’re looking for on your next school ski trip.
With a top piste altitude of 3250m, this resort is one of the highest in Europe and guaranteed good snow coverage.
La Plagne is also linked to Les Arcs via the ‘Paradiski’ cable car, making it one of the largest ski areas in France and, in fact, the world, with a whopping 425km of skiing and offers a great variety of runs suitable for every level of ski ability.
The majority of the ski area sits on what is actually a gently sloping plateau, making this a great choice for first-timers. That being said, La Plagne is also an intermediate skier’s paradise, as the slopes for this level of ability are superb. Intermediates and advanced skiers have an unrivalled choice of runs, above and below the tree-line, from long, gentle cruisers to steep and challenging blacks. There’s also a great snowpark, boardercross and half-pipe, to keep your snowboarders happy!
Just 50m from our most popular accommodation is the ski school meeting point, nursery slopes and a choice of lifts providing direct access to either Plagne Centre or Aime La Plagne, or you can follow the forested runs down to Plagne Montalbert.
