The Resort:

The stunning ski resort of Myrkdalen is located two hours from Bergen, in Western Norway. It is surrounded by high mountains, deep valleys, spectacular fjords, and has a lovely Scandinavian rural feel. Myrkdalen is the largest ski resort in the West of Norway and also has the benefit of being extremely snow-sure, meaning it has a long ski-season and an average snowfall of five metres.

Skiing in Myrkdalen:

With 32km of trails of varying difficulty, Myrkdalen is great for all abilities of skiers. There are family-friendly alpine slopes as well as fast-paced ski cross trails and beautiful off-piste terrain. On top of this the resort has 9 ski lifts, including 2 express chairlifts, so you can quickly and easily reach the mountain tops and enjoy everything the ski resort has to offer.

For Schools Because:

Myrkdalen has an outstanding ski school that allows beginner skiers to progress rapidly throughout your trip. The large wide slopes and excellent lift system allow for as much time as possible spent on the slopes. The resort also has easy access between slopes, parking, cabins, and apartments making it ideal for large school groups.  Mini skiing competitions for children  are hosted with everyone involved receiving a prize. This is a great opportunity for the children to show off the skills they’ve learnt across the trip. The uncrowded slopes and beautiful views of frozen lakes make it a great choice for all involved.
