Seefeld School Ski Trips
One of the most famous resorts in Austria
The Resort:
With slopes spread across the Gschwandtkopf and Rosshutte areas, Seefeld has beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The resort has been part of the ‘Best of the Alps’ alliance for the last 20 years and acts as an ambassador of the alpine region showing the quality of its slopes and the resort itself. This pedigree is shown by the fact that it has previously hosted 2 Winter Olympics and top ski stars regularly train here. The town itself is extremely close to the Tyrolean capital of Innsbruck and has a wonderful combination of snowy mountains and sun-kissed scenery.
Skiing in Seefeld:
To help beginners, there are separate ski areas for newbies and intermediates which allows new skiers to develop the confidence and skills they need before taking on the harder slopes. The pistes themselves are spacious and glorious and often win awards for their maintenance and grooming so you can be sure of first-class skiing whenever you go. There is also an impressive network of over 250km of cross-country ski tracks in the Seefeld plateau, that look out across the town where you have beautiful views of the Seekirchl (church). Additionally, the modern Skyride and funicular make travel around the resort, and its slopes extremely easy.
For Schools Because:
The nursery slopes are generously sized which is perfect for large groups that have many beginner skiers, whilst the other runs are perfect for those with more confidence meaning all of your group will be challenged and entertained. High-quality skiing is guaranteed as the exceptional snow reliability due to the high altitude combined with stunning panoramic views of the Alps.
Après Ski:
Floodlit night skiing is a bucket list activity that remains a must-do at the resort. The cosy mountain huts available provide a wonderful opportunity to relax with some food after a tiring day on the slopes. At Seefeld, the reputation for food is exceptional with many top-quality restaurants alongside smaller cafes. For an afternoon off, the town offers a range of shopping, 2 public leisure swimming pools, and bowling. Innsbruck is only a 45-minute drive away which has the potential for an entertaining day trip.
