Named in National Geographic’s Best Winter Trips of 2019 article, Sun Peaks is a European style ski through village, in the heart of British Columbia.
Sun Peaks vast ski area is based around 3 mountains – Sundance, Mount Morrisey and Mount Tod, and offers 4270 acres of snow covered terrain to explore.
With a fantastic mix of easy, intermediate, advanced and expert runs, Sun Peaks really does have something for everyone – all within easy access of the resorts 11 lifts.
And away from the slopes, there is loads going on to keep your group occupied! An outdoor skating rink, tube park, sledding, snow shoe hire and ice fishing are available, or maybe a trip to a Kamloops Blazers hockey game…
All in all, Sun Peaks is a great option for school groups – it finds the perfect balance in size, charm, and off slope activities whilst providing uncrowded mountains for skiers of all abilities to enjoy.

This ski-in, ski-out hotel is an excellent choice for school groups, located in Sun Peaks, British Columbia. It features an on site restaurant, indoor and outdoor tub, and ski storage.
Each room at the Nancy Greene’s Cahilty Hotel & Suites include cable TV with DVD player. Rooms with kitchenette and additional sofa beds are available (subject to availability)
Guests can work out in the on-site fitness room or relax in the dry sauna.
School group accommodation is based on 4 sharing (Queen beds) and single rooms for staff.
