Folgarida / Marilleva Ski Trips
A great circuit accommodating beginners and advanced skiers alike
The Resort:
The Folgarida/Marilleva resort combines first-class skiing conditions with a beautiful and traditional Italian town to create a lovely setting for a skiing trip. The resort overlooks the Dolomites in Northern Italy providing spectacular scenery from the ski slopes.
Skiing in Folgarida/Marilleva:
For beginners, the resort has a wide variety of more relaxing scenic trails, with most routes offering a blue or red option making them perfect for mixed ability groups. Additionally, there are rapid black runs and opportunities for off-piste skiing for advanced and more daring skiers. Lots of the runs are sheltered and treelined creating extraordinarily pretty scenery as you ski down the mountains. Ski passes are available to cover huge areas covering 150km of linking pistes for endless adventures going up to altitudes of over 2000m making it a skier’s paradise. World Cup ski races have even been held here before showing the quality of the slopes, as well as giving students the chance to follow in the steps of world-class skiers.
For Schools Because:
Access to the slopes from the resort is superb, and the modern lifts make the journey from accommodation to the tops of the glorious mountains seamless. The balance between beginner help and difficult level runs is what makes the resort a brilliant destination. There are also opportunities for other winter sports such as snowboarding, cross-country skiing, ice skating, and more. This variety and the incredible volume of runs means Folgarida/Marilleva is an outstanding location for a school trip as there is no way of running out of activities to take part in.
Après Ski:
A large range of cafes and restaurants, where you can try delicious Italian food, is just one of many examples of the impressive après ski activities that are available in the resort. Up on the slopes, mountain huts provide a great way to relax after a long day skiing, whilst in the villages, there is a great range of shops. The resort combines the villages of Madonna di Campiglio, Marilleva, and Folgarida which gives large groups a wide variety of things to do, depending on preferences.
